Manchester Futsal Club are delighted to announce an exclusive partnership with MH Goals, which will see the leading sports equipment manufacturer become the lead partner for all teams during the 2018/19 FA National Futsal League season.
MH Goals and the UK’s leading futsal club will have an active partnership which will support the development of the club both on, and off the court.
The club is committed to a long-term relationship with the Suffolk-based firm and are delighted to welcome them and to join the club on our exciting journey.
We spoke to Manchester Futsal Club Chairman Simon Wright in an exclusive Q&A for his reaction on more history being created with the partnership.
Congratulations on securing this new partnership with MH Goals for the upcoming FA National Futsal League season. What does it mean to the club, and from your point of view as Club Chairman, to have such a closely related business onboard at Manchester?
We are delighted to be working with MH Goals on a new exclusive partnership between us where we are both focussed on supporting one another to develop futsal even further. As always it is important for us to be working with partners that really understand the club and the sport of futsal so MH Goals and Manchester Futsal Club are a truly great fit.
How will they assist the club going forward for the new campaign?
MH Goals will become the lead partner for the Seniors, Development Team and Women’s Team in the FA Futsal National League and their brand will be given prime position on our new Umbro team wear this season. Their invaluable support helps us to keep developing the club and these teams on and off the court this season.
We are also very much looking forward to working alongside MH Goals and their R+D Team to develop a high-quality futsal goal together. Our experience and insight will support the excellent product development that MH Goals brings.
What sort of work has been going on behind the scenes in order to reach an agreement for the partnership?
I have personally enjoyed a long relationship with Mark and it is really clear that his business is fully committed to continuing to help the sport to flourish in the UK in the coming years. The timing is perfect for both parties as both the participation, delivery and development of futsal gathers even more pace, particularly with the upcoming launch of the FA’s new Futsal Strategy next month.
MH Goals MD Mark Harrod has known and worked with Club Chairman Simon Wright for many years but this is the first time MH Goals has formally worked with the club.
‘I’m delighted to be working with Simon and Manchester Futsal Club again as I’ve always been a big supporter of the game. I worked extensively with them at my previous company and when the chance came for MH Goals to become their new shirt sponsor I jumped at the opportunity. What’s more, the new partnership will also see the introduction of our new range of pro futsal goals which will be developed in conjunction with Manchester Futsal’.
