Manchester will make yet another long round trip this afternoon, this time to the Midlands where they face Birmingham in their penultimate game of the season.
The Blues go into the game on the back of a 5-4 victory against Genesis last weekend as they stride towards going the rest of the season unbeaten.
Joaquin Garcia Kimet and Raducio King will be unavailable for selection when kick off comes around this afternoon.
Hosts Birmingham will head into this afternoon’s encounter after falling to a 7-5 defeat to Loughborough last weekend and will be wanting to bounce back to finish strongly this season.
Head Coach Sergi Saldana has been speaking to ManchesterFutsal.com about his thoughts and feelings leading up to the game despite his frustrations of recent weeks.
“Most of the squad will be available for this game, just the players that we already knew. Kimet is in Spain and King won’t play again this season.”
“So, for this game we will have the majority of first team players as well as a handful of Development Team players as well.”
“This will be my last game this season on the touchline. I had already bought my ticket to go home before the Salisbury game was rearranged so I am excited for this game.”
“I aim to win both games and we will fight for it, but like the game against Genesis, won't be in the best of circumstances.”
Manchester will take to the court this afternoon at 5:30pm and the game will be streamed live on GFC.TV.
