Match Preview: Manchester Futsal Club vs London Genesis Futsal Club

Manchester Futsal club are preparing to welcome London Genesis to the Belle Vue Leisure Centre this Sunday 15 April.

The home side should be feeling refreshed having a week off from fixtures, yet the away team are looking to bounce back after a run of losses.

Manchester Futsal Head Coach Sergi Saldana, said his side has enjoyed the break from action however he hopes focus can switch to the game.

“Two weeks without games is good to disconnect but at the same time is bad because we have less players in training sessions because some of them take advantage to rest or do other things.”

London Genesis currently sit rock bottom on the FA Futsal Super League table, however it is well known around the league that the team is better than results suggest.

“I saw Genesis when we played vs London city and they impressed me. I don't know why they haven't won more games but of course if we don't give our best they can win,” Saldana said.

Manchester Futsal are fighting it out in mid table at the moment, but a win on the weekend would put the team in good stead for the remainder of the season.

With the season winding down, Saldana just wants the team to focus on winning matches week to week.

“For the rest of the season, just compete and try to win as games as be possible.”

Make sure to get down to the Belle Vue Leisure Centre tomorrow, kick off is 2:30pm.

If you are unable to make it to the game, Manchester Futsal will be streaming it live on Facebook so you can watch it there!
