Player Profile: Cameron Hacking - Manchester Futsal U13s/14s

“I can live without anything if I have a ball at my feet”, those are the words of Manchester Futsal Youth player Cameron Hacking who screams passion for futsal and football from the rooftops of the north.

The youngster has been with the club for some time now and is always learning through the Manchester Futsal Youth Programme and looks up to his coaches who also feature in the first team and wants to be the next youth protégé for the club.

Here’s what Hacking had to tell ManchesterFutsal.com about his time playing futsal so far and his ambitions within the game.

How long have you been playing futsal?

I have been playing Futsal between 4 to 5 years.

What do you love the most about the game?

I love the fast pace and the tactics in the game.

How has it benefited you?

Futsal has helped me develop a close touch and good control.

Who is your coach and what is your favourite thing about their coaching?

My coach is Doug Reed. In my opinion he has good tactics and can teach them very well.

What's something you can't live without besides futsal?

I can live without anything if I have a ball at my feet.

Why Futsal over Football?

I like Futsal over football because I see more of the ball and it is a fast game.

Other experience? I had a great time on the MFC youth tour in Murcia, Spain. It helped me with my game and I loved seeing how big it was over there.
